Godaddy Domain + Tumblr
I had the most difficult time trying to get my domain set up. I searched, and searched and searched again to find some guidance. I came across this delightful and easy to use instruction. But it looked just like the steps I had completed. I took a closer look and I realized I had put an “*” instead of an “@” in step 5. I tried using the “@” and I immediately was...

A few minutes ago i posted about my frustration in trying to create a custom post URL.
I think i found a convoluted method:
1. Create your post. 2. Go to your tumblr site. [don’t view through dashboard, you have to be at your tumblr site.] 3. Find the bar on your post that says “Posted XX minutes ago” and click on it. 4. That click will lead you to the custom url that you...

I have been trying to figure out how to “set a custom post URL” for my tumblr posts. And I’m sooooo frustrated. I finally sent a note to the support staff in the hopes that they can help me. It just occurred to me that I had only tried it with posts I had already created and not new posts. I’m gonna try setting one now and see what happens. Wish me luck!

ok, back again.
I’m having another go at figuring out this techy stuff. I figure the best way to learn it to do it, yes? Tumblr looks like some fun to be had.
Meanwhile, over on Facebook I just spent 10 minutes trying to add to my friend’s list of 12. It didn’t work out so hot. What really freaked me out was that when I finally found what I was looking for I also discovered a plethora of people...
